Akil Collins, Strategic Accounts Manager
Akil Collins, Strategic Accounts Manager, is an honorably discharged US Army Veteran. He brings over 20 years of technical and business experience in military, law enforcement, international defense, and the physical security industries.
Akil started his career working as a communications specialist with the Army, after which he transitioned to the defense and law enforcement contract industry. As a technical sales and training specialist, Akil was responsible for consulting with US Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies in the acquisition and field deployment of specialized covert surveillance systems and hardware.
These experiences with homeland and clandestine operations for both the United States government as well as with ally nations, gives him the unique ability to understand both the technical and the business side of government and commercial markets. His skill set includes business development, service/product sales and marketing strategy, technical specifications and new product development, and technical product deployment.
Akil believes that truly listening and having a clear understanding of our clients’ perspectives and goals is essential to providing our clients with the solutions they need to achieve their objectives.
